I apologize. What I meant was there was nothing actively in motion
specifically to this group. Certainly, there is active work on existing
systems, such as CiviCRM (which I mentioned) and OffstageArts (which I
failed to mention, I apologize). One of the plans for this group was to
attempt to create and/or improve existing software for organizations
that are not arts-based organizations (which would use OffstageArts),
and more-simply-organized non-profits (which can use CiviCRM). I don't
think anything is in motion on that front.
There is no solution out there yet, for example, for a
fiscal-sponsor-style organization, like Conservancy (which I run) and
SPI (which has similar needs, software-wise). If OffstageArts is
planning to refactor to move beyond the specifics of arts-oriented
organizations, and to support fiscal sponsors, that would be excellent
to hear about.
