Hello,

I've had a chance to start building some documentation now.  I've put it
at:

and linked from the Wiki.

This documentation is still very much a draft.  However, I have managed
to (very briefly) describe:

How to create a new OA database in PostgreSQL and how to configure OA to
connect to it.  Kind of basic stuff needed for someone to get started
playing around with their own database.


usermanual.pdf
--------------

  1. How to build queries.  This doesn't describe the point-and-click
interface, but a programmer should probably be able to deduce that from
the description given.

  2. How to set up a mailing, either by spreadsheet or by mailing  
labels.

Together, this is what one needs to know to do bulk donor fundraising
mailings.  There is no customization involved in this task.

customization.pdf

1. How to add custom fields
2. How to add custom tabs
3. (Coming) how to add reports
4. (Coming) full tarball of code examples

These are the main kinds of customizations envisioned so far.  This
goes into some of the nitty-gritty as far as how customizations
are built.
