[software] JDKs on Debian?

Hello,

I found the package openjdk-6-jre in lenny (testing) on the Debian website. It's based on IcedTea. Am I right to assume that any package listed there is 100pct free software? If so, then does that mean that if OA runs under this JVM that I now have a complete system with no non-free dependencies?

If this is true, then I will fire up a Debian box this weekend and start QA testing OA on it.

How would I put OA into a Debian pkg so it runs with this JDK?

Thanks,
-Bob
